Habitat for Humanity Fresno County seeks to end poverty housing in the county of Fresno by uniting individuals, families and communities to build decent, affordable housing. We work in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God’s people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which people can live and grow into all that God intended. Habitat is based on the conviction that Christian discipleship must be lived out in practical ways which help to lift burdens from the shoulders of others.

I have been honored to work for Habitat for Humanity Fresno County for the past eight years. My first four years were spent as a volunteer “volunteer coordinator”. It was with great pleasure that I subsequently became the affiliate’s Interim Director, eventually serving as the Executive Director for the past three years. I continue to be blessed and excited by the ministry and work of Habitat for Humanity. I look forward to seeing more homes and more hope built for many years to come.

I have the best job that there is! God provides an amazing story for each Habitat house with the people and the opportunities that he presents. I have a front row seat to watch the story unfold. I am always amazed!

It’s amazing to come to work everyday where what I do is more than just a job. It’s an opportunity to touch people and turn strangers into friends.   Rick O'Daniel

It is refreshing to work with the wonderful families that will ultimately purchase the home. There is so much pride in their work and appreciation for the labor that actually goes into building a home. I’m excited to belong to an organization that not only challenges the community and the partner families to go out and make great things happen, but challenges itself to do great things as well.

Working for Habitat for Humanity has been a desire of mine for a very long time. When I saw the job posting for Habitat ReStore, I knew this was my calling to apply. I look forward to many years helping Habitat achieve its mission of building decent and affordable homes for Fresno County families.

I’m privileged to be involved in the remarkable work of Habitat for Humanity. It’s exciting to watch a family’s life-changing journey as they make the dream of becoming a homeowner a reality. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work with people so genuinely dedicated to helping others.

Carlos Campos
ReStore Warehouse Associate
I was sitting at home drinking coffee and reading the newspaper when I came across the ReStore ad. Two Saturdays later I found myself at ReStore pricing items and then I became a volunteer. Finally I accepted a full time staff position at Habitat for Humanity Fresno County and I couldn’t be happier.
