Resident Engagement Coord.
Chelsi Allen-Johnson is a native of Portland, Oregon, but her family moved to Fresno, California ten years ago to plant their roots. She is a great communicator, organizer, and team player who brings light into any room. Chelsi has had a professional career in working with the general public as a licensed massage therapist for 12 years prior to joining Habitat for Humanity.
Her career shifted once she became a Habitat homeowner and, after closing on her home, she began working with our organization as the resident engagement specialist for our Acts of Kindness program. Her experience gained as a therapist has allowed her to carry her compassion for people in a new direction. She makes a great impact on our community!
Her love for Habitat has grown through presented opportunities. Now she has become an advocate for putting God’s love into action. She loves working at Habitat with like-minded people and “doing God’s work” by sharing his love with our neighbors to better the community!
