Chief Executive Officer
Danny Raymond Armenta has lived a life of “paying it forward” as a nonprofit leader, an educator, a minister, a veteran, and now, as Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area’s new CEO.
Recognized as one whose life is dedicated to service above self and as a veteran of the U.S. Army, Danny brings extensive experience to the position of Chief Executive Officer in business and fiscal management spanning over nearly three decades. Danny is a former VP of Merchant Services for Bank of America and was once the broker of his own mortgage company, insurance company, and retail outlet. His recent tenure as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Kingston Bay Senior Living, his position as Associate Instructor of Business Administration for UEI College in Fresno, coupled with his decade long devotion to volunteer service with the Clovis Rotary Club and his service as an Assistant Governor for Rotary District 5230, showcase his commitment to both his profession and our community.
The principles of his faith guide him, and he believes that our community exemplifies the spirit of hope and opportunity to those who need it most. Danny will never forget his roots and credits the Central Valley and the hearts of those who gave him opportunities and empowered him to dream. This community changed his life forever and he truly loves and is committed to the people of the Greater Fresno Area. Danny is passionate about spreading the message of hope and expectation and feels honored to continue to love, empower, equip, and serve so many more at this level through Habitat for Humanity GFA.
Born in East Los Angeles, having grown up in a poor, transient family that consisted of a single mom and four children, Danny has firsthand experience of the trajectory of life being transformed by his community. He knows that providing a home, stability, security, and a sanctuary for children opens up so many doors to establish a generational legacy of which he is thrilled to be a part of at Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area.
Danny has lived in Fresno for 33 years and considers himself to be a lifelong learner while enjoying all aspects of self-improvement, growth and development. Danny is the proud father of his five children, Deborah, Abigail, Daniel, Benjamin, and Ezra.
