Donor Engagement Specialist
Megan Scholl is a Fresno native with nearly ten years of experience in the nonprofit industry. Her excitement and passion led her into the role of Donor Engagement Specialist with Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area. . For over three years she worked closely with donors to find donations and sponsorships for the zoo and its collection of animals.
Megan discovered her love for cultivating relationships and working closely with the incredible people who selflessly support local organizations and charities. She believes that fundraising is a crucial step on the path toward success. Connecting with people has been, and always will be, a fundamental part of her life. Making a difference in the world is something that Megan constantly strives to accomplish. If she can help create even one ripple for a single person, then it might become a tidal wave of change down the line for countless others. She is excited to be a member of Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area – making a difference is phenomenally impactful whether it’s locally or globally.
As someone who struggled to purchase her first house, Megan understands the importance of living under a secure roof. Having a safe place to call “home” can make or break personal hope and future goals.
Outside of the office, Megan has a pack of tiny children who run her life! These demanding little furballs sport four legs, wagging tails (though some of them are stubby), and wet noses. In fact, despite the exotic beasties she cared for, dogs are still her favorite animal! She spends her weekends and evenings hanging out on the couch with these fuzzbuckets where she reads, writes, and partakes in an expansive slate of other nerdy activities.
