STARTING A WORKPLACE CAMPAIGN
When employees give through their place of employment, it builds morale and fosters team building. Employers who offer their employees a chance to support Habitat for Humanity find it increases employee satisfaction and helps recruit and retain talent.
Benefits to Employers
Community Image – The employer is seen as a community partner that raises funds for those in need of affordable homeownership.
Employee Morale – Employees feel great when they can support Habitat Greater Fresno Area.
No-Cost Employee Benefit – Employees receive an extra benefit without increasing employer expenditures.
Benefits to Employees
Choice – Employees can designate how they would like to have their donation used.
Convenience – Employees sign up annually and their gift is spread throughout the year, making it easier to give a larger gift.
Confidence – Because Habitat for Humanity Greater Fresno Area is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all workplace giving donations to Habitat are tax-deductible. The deductions (removed after federal, state, and FICA taxes) reduce net pay but do not affect gross income.
