youth programs

Through our Lego Build program, youth learn about the importance of safe, decent and affordable housing. In small groups or classes they then compete to design their home without instructions. Winners receive prizes and an experience they will never forget. This program is ideal for students ages 5-12 years old.

Habitat's playhouse initiative is our newest program aimed impacting families in a meaningful way. This wonderful program allows youth groups, corporate groups and individuals of all ages brighten the day of children from actively serving military families. Our Change for Homes program is a great way to get students and classes involved in crowdfunding for the purpose of "changing" their community. Through individual class goals students are able to contribute their change to help families attain strength, stability, and self reliance through affordable shelter. This is great for Elementary and Middle School participation.

Our Campus Chapter program is a great way for High Schooler's to grow in leadership and build the community. Operating completely autonomously, Campus Chapters establish themselves as a school club. Chapters elect their own leadership team and work with Habitat  to fund-raise, raise awareness, and go out to work on actual Habitat home projects!
