For 37 years, Habitat Greater Fresno Area has radically changed lives. As of 2024, we have improved housing conditions for 800+ families through the work of over 20,000 volunteers. We have leveraged millions of dollars generated from over 7,000 donors. Our one purpose is to share the love of God by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
For three decades, we have provided homeownership opportunities to families in Fresno and Madera counties. Lending to these “high-risk” borrowers has yielded less than a 0.05% foreclosure rate (which is 1/3 of the national rate).

Beyond new home construction, we have built and continue to build communities through our Neighborhood Revitalization program. To this end, we aim to preserve existing housing stock through minor beautification and major rehabilitation projects. We have partnered with many supporters in the community to add communal green space, plant community gardens, enhance city infrastructure, and build resident leadership.
